Friends of Bricklehurst (FOBS) is a registered charity, that was started in 2004, to develop effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school and by engaging in activities and providing facilities / equipment which support the school and enhance the education of the pupils.
All parents of the school are members of FOBS and we actively encourage all parents to offer their help whenever possible. As a small community we have a wealth of experience and expertise at our fingertips and as such we encourage all parents to work together for the benefit of the school.
In previous years we have raised significant funds to add to the facilities in the school by organising fundraising events such as the Autumn Fair, the annual Quiz Night, the Summer Picnic, as well as running a second hand uniform sale all year round. We also host events that enrich the children’s experience during their time at Bricklehurst, such as the Christmas Disco, the Easter Egg Hunt, and the weekly Cake Raffle, which is something the children really look forward to winning!
Once you become a member of our school community we would like to invite you to join us, either in support, or as a class representative to welcome new families and share the FOBS message with other parents, or to offer your services in future roles of either Secretary, Treasurer or perhaps even Chair.
Keep an eye on the board and the screen in the front hall for information on when the next FOBS meeting will be held. However if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch by email firstname.lastname@example.org
