Osmington Bay 2018

IMG_0838Our annual residential trip this year took us to Dorset’s sun soaked Jurassic Coast. The children, and some brave staff, enjoyed activities such as fossil hunting, giant swinging, rifle shooting, abseiling, archery and aero-ball (think netball meets trampolining).

We also learnt how to race Dragon Boats at the National Sailing Centre in Portland, where many of the 2012 Olympic aquatic events where held.

Squeezed between activities the children ate very well, from generous menus which satisfied even the most picky eaters, managed to get some sleep despite sharing luxurious log cabin dormitories with their friends and learned some particularly catchy repeat after me songs. (I’ve still got ‘Moose Moose Alpaca’ echoing in my ears).

The children enjoyed a fabulous week, returning to school tired, but with heads full of wonderful memories to last a life time.IMG_5732
