About us

Friends of Bricklehurst

Friends of Bricklehurst is a registered charity. We focus on developing effective relationships between staff, parents and other stakeholders, with the ultimate aim of providing activities, facilities and equipment that enhances the children’s experience and education.

All parents are members of the charity, and we enjoy working together with parents for the benefit of the school, and our children.

In previous years, we’ve been able to bolster the school’s facilities by organising fundraising events such as the Autumn fair, the annual quiz night and the Summer picnic, as well as running a second hand uniform sale all year round.

We also host events that enrich the children’s experience during their time at Bricklehurst, such as the Christmas disco, the Easter egg hunt, and the (much anticipated!) weekly cake raffle.

Once you become a member of our school community, you’ll be invited to join us, either in support, as a class representative (which involves welcoming new families and sharing our message with other parents), or to offer your services in future roles of either Secretary, Treasurer or perhaps even Chair.

Keep an eye on the board and the screen in the front hall for information on our next meeting. And if you have any further, questions, please do get in touch by email, at: fobsmessages@gmail.com.

Kind regards,
Andrew Castle, Chair

Friends of Bricklehurst Autumn Fair

We basked in the glorious autumn sunshine this year. Thank you to everybody who supported this wonderful event which provided another opportunity to meet old friends and new within our beautiful gardens. Lots of local stallholders attended the event alongside the class stalls and local businesses helped the charity by sponsoring the event and providing lots of wonderful raffle prizes. Friends of Bricklehurst are pleased to announce a Grand total in excess of £3000 for this event.

Our children take with them valuable life skills, and many happy memories.

Watch out, children about! Our Early Years children have enjoyed Road Safety Week putting their learning into practice in the playground! #RoadSafetyWeek #learningthroughplay #lifeskills #eyfs #wadhurst #burwash #tunbridgewells
