About us

Friends of Bricklehurst

Friends of Bricklehurst is a registered charity. We focus on developing effective relationships between staff, parents and other stakeholders, with the ultimate aim of providing activities, facilities and equipment that enhances the children’s experience and education.

All parents are members of the charity, and we enjoy working together with parents for the benefit of the school, and our children.

In previous years, we’ve been able to bolster the school’s facilities by organising fundraising events such as the Autumn fair, the annual quiz night and the Summer picnic, as well as running a second hand uniform sale all year round.

We also host events that enrich the children’s experience during their time at Bricklehurst, such as the Christmas disco, the Easter egg hunt, and the (much anticipated!) weekly cake raffle.

Once you become a member of our school community, you’ll be invited to join us, either in support, as a class representative (which involves welcoming new families and sharing our message with other parents), or to offer your services in future roles of either Secretary, Treasurer or perhaps even Chair.

Keep an eye on the board and the screen in the front hall for information on our next meeting. And if you have any further, questions, please do get in touch by email, at:

Kind regards,
Andrew Castle, Chair

The date has been set! Saturday 21st September 2019.

Join us again for the biggest event of the FOB's calendar.  A wonderfully traditional Autumn Fair set in the beautiful grounds of Bricklehurst Manor School. Attractions include home-made crafts and produce stalls, home grown plant stalls, local crafts and traders, face painting, gourmet burgers and sausages, East Sussex Fire & Rescue, water zorbing, tug of war, cakes and bakes, traditional fair games, grand raffle, silent auction and much, much more.

Quiz Night Saturday 23rd March

Join us again this year for another entertaining and competitive quiz night. This fun event promises to challenge and amuse everyone. A bar will be provided and teams of six are invited to bring their own picnics. We look forward to seeing you on the night!

Friends of Bricklehurst are pleased to announce the next Friday Film Night!

Children are invited to get comfy in their pyjamas or onesies in the school hall for a special screening of Incredibles 2. Popcorn and drinks will be provided to enjoy during the film, and parents are invited for drinks and nibbles in the Art Room.

Our children take with them valuable life skills, and many happy memories.

The rain didn’t stop Year 1 from enjoying a trip to @BedgeburyP yesterday. They looked at the trees, hunted for mini-beasts and collected lots of natural object to use in science and art lessons. #learningisfun #handsonlearning #Wadhurst #Mayfield #Burwash #TunbridgeWells #Sussex
